Benita Dieperink, M.D. is Co-director of the Hennepin Women’s Mental Health Program (HWMHP), Hennepin Health Systems in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since 2010, Dr. Dieperink has been an active member of Pregnancy and Postpartum Minnesota (PPSM). Currently she is on the steering committee of PPSM and is Co-chair of the team who are organizing the PSI 2013 national conference. Dr. Dieperink graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her residency training in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, where she became interested in Perinatal Psychiatry. She has been on faculty at HCMC since 1997 and co-founded the HWMHP in 1999 with a core group of colleagues. Since 1994, she has consulted to the High-risk Obstetrics Clinic at Hennepin County Medical Center, which has emphasizes comprehensive, interdisciplinary care for the high-risk pregnant woman. She maintains an outpatient practice in the Perinatal Psychiatry clinic at HCMC and a private practice, as well.
