This page lists the PSI Support Coordinators and other area resources such as groups, telephone support, and reliable services that are available for no charge. We also list local events, trainings, and volunteer opportunities.

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PSI COORDINATOR: PSI Coordinators are volunteers who offer caring and informed support and resources for treatment for moms and their families. They also provide information and resources for area providers who are caring for pregnant and postpartum families. Please don’t hesitate to contact us; we want to hear from you even if you don’t see your area mentioned.

The following groups offer support at no charge for women who are at risk of or are experiencing distress such as isolation, depression, anxiety, fearful thoughts, insomnia, trauma, and other difficulties during pregnancy or postpartum. Support groups provide a safe and caring place for connection and recovery. Please call or email for more information.

Postpartum Support Group
This group is for mothers who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, irritability or any other mood disturbance in the first year following childbirth. It is a forum for discussion, fellowship, support and a safe space to share stories and help each other through the postpartum period.   The group is led by Hadas Liebermann, LCSW. There is no cost to attend.

This group meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 12-1pm at Northern Dutchess Hospital’s Cafeteria Conference Room, 6511 Springbrook Ave., Rhinebeck, NY 12572.

June 11 & 12, 2019 Register for Facilitator Training for the Postpartum Resource Center of New York’s Circle of Caring Pregnancy and Postpartum Depression/Anxiety Support Group in Islandia, New York

This course has been approved by Postpartum Support International as an advanced 3rd day training towards Certification in the Affiliated track

for Postpartum Support International’s Certification in Perinatal Mental Health.
