WELCOME TO THE UTAH RESOURCE PAGE FOR PSI. We are glad you found us. This page lists the PSI Support Coordinators and other area resources such as groups, telephone support, and reliable services that are available for no charge. We also list local events, trainings, and volunteer opportunities.

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR PSI COORDINATOR: PSI Coordinators are volunteers who offer caring and informed support and resources to moms and their families. They also provide information and resources for area providers who are caring for pregnant and postpartum families. Please don’t hesitate to contact us; we want to hear from you.

The following groups offer support at no charge for women who are at risk of or are experiencing distress such as isolation, depression, anxiety, fearful thoughts, insomnia, trauma, and other difficulties during pregnancy or postpartum. Support groups provide a safe and caring place for connection and recovery. Please call or email for more information.

A Free Support Group for any mom or pregnant woman that struggles with anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns.
Join a licensed social worker and other women like you in learning to use mindfulness and other coping skills to handle the specific challenges that come with being a mom.

A monthly online meet up for men to improve their ability to support their partner and new baby through understanding postpartum depression and anxiety. The group will work to diversify your support methods, maximize your time and efficiency spent with your child, and provide a network of other men with similar goals. Topics include: child development, sex in the relationship, resources for dads, supporting mom (even when she is acting abnormal) and ways to maximize your effectiveness as a father.
WHEN: This group will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8PM, with an additional quarterly meet up.
WHERE: Zoom online conferencing (Video call optional)
COST: This is a free, online community group. The quarterly meet ups are free. However, some meet ups may have a cost associated with them for participation. (ex. Bowling game and shoes, Buffalo Wild Wings drink and meal etc.). Every member is welcome to come and be with the group without spending money

Professionally Led Pregnancy and Loss Support Group
This group is for individuals who have experienced a pregnancy loss and offers a unique combination of education, skills, insight and guidance from a seasoned professional and support from peers.
The group will be professionally led by Monica Ashton, LCSW, PMH-C who has both personal experience and professional expertise in reproductive loss.
When:  The first Monday of every month
Time: 6:30 p.m.

Midvale Postpartum Support Group
Did you know that at least 1 in 8 mothers face depression and anxiety symptoms during pregnancy and up to two years after having a baby? You are not alone! This is a free group for moms or moms-to-be who want to connect with other women for support. Babes in arms welcome!
