Cody Alvey has a BA from the University of Louisville in English and Gender Studies and is pursuing a MS from Johns Hopkins University in Data Analysis and Policy. When her son was born in 2016, she experienced postpartum depression and anxiety which led her to shift careers and begin working to help others. She has been working with parents and babies for 6 years in various roles as a support group leader, home visitor, and lactation educator.
