Crystal Clancy, LMFT, PMH-C (she/her) is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has been in practice for 20 years.  She is the Owner of Iris Mental Health, a group private practice that focuses on trauma-informed care with perinatal mental health, pregnancy & infant loss, and fertility challenges.  In addition to therapy, she offers professional consultation for clinicians.  Crystal is one of the founding members of the organization Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN (PPSM, PSI-MN), former Executive Director, and collaborated with PSI to become the 5th PSI State Chapter in the U.S. She continues to work with PSI as a state Co-Coordinator, serve on the Proposal Committee for the annual conference, and has been a Subject Matter Expert for the PMH-C Certification exam. Locally, she is part of the MN DHS During Pregnancy and Delivery Strategy Team, working on increasing accessible, quality health care during pregnancy and delivery.
Crystal has a sub-niche working with new moms who were raised by “difficult mothers”, and has presented on this topic both locally and nationally. She is certified in aromatherapy, and a novice astrologer.
Crystal has lived experience with fertility challenges and postpartum depression, which created a passion for supporting the perinatal population. She lives in a suburb of Minneapolis with her husband, two “kids” (one of whom is now off to college), and one very lucky cat.
