Elizabeth O’Brien, LPC, PMH-C
Elizabeth O’Brien, LPC, owns her own private practice in Grant Park specializing in maternal mental health. She is a “therapist’s therapist”, facilitates new moms support groups, provides advanced trainings in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and co-facilitates a consultation group for maternal mental health. Before moving to Atlanta, where she has worked the past six years, she spent fifteen years working with complex trauma in children and adults in Fairbanks, Alaska. Her approach to therapy is from the mind/body perspective. As a yoga teacher and Dance Movement Therapist, she incorporates mindfulness, breath work, and movement into her work. Elizabeth volunteers as a PSI coordinator and is acting President of the PSI Georgia Chapter. When she is not working, she is spending time with her three kids, husband, and Juniper, her dog.
