The Climb Social Media Manager
Emily is a 15-year-veteran elementary school teacher turned PMAD advocate. She married her husband Daniel in October 2004 and gave birth to her beautiful twin daughters, Maddy and Baylor in April 2014. She is a PPA/PPD survivor who, in 2019, worked with Oklahoma state legislators to enact a law to enable doctors to screen perinatal women for PMADs before and after giving birth.
Emily began volunteering with Climb Out of the Darkness in 2020 as a Climb Leader for Team OKC. She left teaching in May 2022 and joined PSI in July as The Climb Communications Manager, working on Climb Social Media and Marketing.
In her spare time, Emily loves to nap, drink tea, read historical fiction, and watch British mysteries on Netflix/PBS/Prime Video. She also sings in an a’cappella choir at church, enjoys travel, photography and meeting up with friends at coffee shops.
