Laudy Burgos is an associate director of social work in the Women’s and Children’s Division at Mount Sinai Hospital. In this capacity she supervises social work staff in the outpatient clinic, inpatient units, and the faculty practice in the OB/GYN department. Her specialty area is the treatment of perinatal mood disorders. She is also a New York State co-coordinator for Postpartum Support International. Laudy has presented at various national and international social work conferences and is the author and co-author of numerous studies and academic papers. 

Laudy is on faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Columbia University School of Social Work, and NYU Silver School of Social Work. She is a graduate of the New York University Silver School of Social Work. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the National Association of Perinatal Social Workers.
