Toni Stern, MD, MS, MBA
Dr. Stern is the Mount Sinai Health System Vice Chair for Quality, Clinical Transformation and
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She also serves as the Chief Patient Experience Officer in The
Raquel and Jaime GilinskiiDepartment of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at
Mount Sinai. In her role, Dr. Stern has established a data-driven approach that fosters a high
reliability infrastructure based on the integration of quality, equity and experience with the aim
of optimizing quality and identifying and addressing disparities. Dr. Stern has extensive
experience as a quality and process improvement leader. She is an Associate Professor and the
Senior Associate Dean for Gender Equity in Clinical Affairs at the Icahn School of Medicine at
Mount Sinai.
