Patricia Hoppmann was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. After graduating from Appalachian State University, she worked in various fields,, including the corporate, non-profit, and hospitality industry. Her experience with postpartum depression and anxiety after the birth of her first daughter in 2014 inspired her to volunteer with Moms Supporting Moms, a local peer support group instrumental during recovery. Now a Peer Support Facilitator with PSI, she is proud to work towards increasing education and eliminating the stigma surrounding perinatal mood disorders.  She is currently studying to obtain her PMH-C. Outside work, Patricia enjoys cooking, gardening, live music, movies, theater, and messy craft projects with her two awesome daughters and husband.
