Roderick Drew

Roderick Drew has nearly 30 years of communications experience in the Chicagoland area, including media relations, writing, strategic planning and emergency response experience. He is currently an Associate Vice President and Deputy Program Manager – Communications for HNTB Corporation, an employee-owned infrastructure solutions firm serving public and private owners and contractors for more than a century. As part of the Program Management Office for the Illinois Tollway, Drew is working closely with the Tollway’s Department of Diversity and Strategic Development to increase access to economic opportunities for small, diverse, women and veteran-owned companies and individuals. Prior to joining HNTB, Drew worked for the City of Chicago for more than a decade in high profile communications positions with the Mayor’s Press Office, O’Hare Modernization Program, Chicago Police Department, Office of Emergency Management and Communications and Department of Law. A graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, Drew currently lives in the western suburbs of Chicago where he is raising his three children.
